Spanish I
In this immersion class, students learn basic Spanish vocabulary and sentence formation through TPR, songs, skits, and memorization. By the end of the first semester, students can speak and write basic sentences and comprehend detailed instructions from the teacher. Warning—the teacher does not speak English during Spanish class!
Spanish II
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to participate in intermediate conversations with native Spanish speakers as well as write complex sentences and paragraphs in Spanish. They will continue to perfect their reading abilities in Spanish, and have a variety of opportunities to listen to other Spanish speakers.
