JD Rich
JD was born and raised in Washington state before attending Mount Ellis Academy for four years to graduate in 2004. He fell in love with his future wife Kristi while they were attending Canadian University College (CaUC) where he received a Bachelors of Science -Biology degree in 2009. He also minored in Chemistry and Religion, which provided him with the ability to teach Bible here at MEA. To help offset the cost of his education he worked at Parkview Adventist Academy as Student Dean while attending CaUC. For the last three years he has enjoyed working at MEA as Freshman Bible teacher and Assistant Boys’ Dean. His hobbies include juggling, hiking, skiing, primitive survival skills and pre-1840 historical re-enactments. One of his goals is to provide a safe environment for young people to question what they believe and why they believe it in order to strengthen their faith and prepare them to serve God with their lives.
